Gilda Joyce- Psychic investigator by Jennifer Allison

            This book was so much fun to read! It seriously pulled me in and wouldn't let go. The author was very descriptive, but not in the boring way at all.  She made it interesting and clever. I swear, on every page I laughed. This Author is wonderful!

          

                 Here's what it's about... Ever since Gilda's father died, she has been working on developing psychic abilities. She is determined to talk with those who have passed on. After inviting herself to relatives house in san Francisco, she get's the chance to try out her "abilities" there thanks to her family relatives who have some great secrets. This book borders on scary to laugh out loud HILARIOUS! This is the first case in the fabulous career of Gilda Joyce, Psychic Investigator.

Warnings: Can be scary at times, but the humor balances it out pretty well. Elementary school kids probably shouldn't read these books before bedtime. I was 15 when I read this and I was still freaked out, but I'm very much a wimp when it comes to anything scary. Hahaha!
